About Me

I have a master’s degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University, a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, and hold a certificate in nurse midwifery from Frontier Nursing Services. I had the wonderful experience of delivering all 4 of my grandchildren. I have practiced full-scope nurse midwifery in various birthing centers and hospitals across United States, as well as 2 years on a Native American reservation. Before joining Kaiser Permanente more than 10 years ago, I was clinical faculty at the University of Colorado Health Science Center.

About my practice

I have been a certified nurse midwife for 26 years and a mother-baby nurse for even longer. I love my job and feel so blessed to have chosen this career. My empathy and compassion for women during pregnancy and childbirth has enabled me to empower them in motherhood and successful breastfeeding experiences.

How I thrive

I enjoy the beach, gardening, and playing with my grandchildren and my feisty beagles.
