About Me

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have lived throughout the United States and am pleased to call beautiful Oregon home. My medical training started at Wake Forest Medical School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and I completed residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Prior to my medical training, I worked as a biologist for 8 years, working on salmon and water quality projects in the Northwest.

About my practice

I chose emergency medicine as a specialty because I enjoy variety. Every day is different with new and interesting challenges. I am very pleased to be working at Kaiser Permanente. It is a pleasure to have the support of our specialty services within a strong network of primary care providers. I enjoy knowing the patients I see in the emergency hepartment will have close follow up; be it for a broken bone, heart condition or other medical illness.

How I thrive

I enjoy getting outside with my husband and 2 boys. We are active family that enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing and fishing. If its raining, then my indoor hobby is sewing.
