About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my Web page. I hope the following information will provide some background information about me and my practice.

Biography

I am a native of Southern California and obtained my undergraduate and medical degrees from USC. I spent the first 11 years of my career as an active duty officer and Ob/Gyn in the United States Air Force. During this time, I took care of military members and their families and experienced living in the Midwest and the South. After the completion of my service, I spent a year in private practice in the Pasadena area prior to joining Kaiser Permanente. I joined because I truly believe that our integrated, team-based approach to delivering health care enables me to provide better care for my patients.

About my practice

I consider it a privilege and a responsibility when patients trust me with their healthcare. My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care to meet the health needs of my patients. I will strive to understand and integrate the different aspects of my patient's health history to provide them with the most appropriate treatment options. I believe the best health outcomes are a result of collaboration between the physician and patient, based on mutual respect and trust. I practice full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology with a special interest in minimally invasive gynecological surgery and urogynecology.

How I thrive

I thrive when I different aspects of my life are in balance. When I am not taking care of patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters. I also try to counteract my love of food with regular exercise.
