Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and the opportunity to improve my patients’ lives. As the physician in charge of the Hospitalist Division, I strive to deliver high-quality quality care in a compassionate manner to our hospitalized members.
I have been practicing medicine for 17 years. I studied computer science and biology in college and decided to pursue my passion for medicine, following in my father and grandfather’s footsteps. I graduated from USC School of Medicine and completed a residency program in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
I’m part of a group of about 26 physicians who exclusively treat patients who are hospitalized. We work as a team but provide individualized care. We work very closely with our excellent nurses in a common effort to provide high-quality care, while keeping the patient and their loved ones, as well as their primary physician, fully informed and involved.
Balance is the key to a healthy lifestyle for me. I enjoy my work, spending time with my family, and staying physically fit by cycling — both road and mountain biking.
