About Me

Hi, and welcome to my Web page! I am very excited to be with Kaiser Permanente in Orange County. It is truly my pleasure to be able to take care of every one of our members.

Biography

I was born and raised in China. I completed my medical education and started my residency in Shanghai, where I met my wife. In 1996, I immigrated to the United States, going first to Rhode Island for cardiac surgery training, then to Stanford University for my general surgery residency. I completed my vascular fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. My wife and I have two boys.

About my practice

I am trained as a full-scope vascular surgeon. I treat my patients with both traditional open and minimally invasive endovascular techniques. Our vascular surgery team includes licensed vocational nurses, registered nurses, vascular ultrasound technicians, and medical assistants. It is our goal to make your experience with us positive and reassuring.

How I thrive

I try to lead by example for my patients by having a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I do routine exercise, especially running, and promote healthy eating. I love all kinds of sports.
