I was born and raised in Kaneohe, on the beautiful windward side of Oahu. My grandfather was a physician and he influenced me to pursue a career in medicine. I was also interested in a job that would allow me to interact with people daily, so being able to care for and support my community while getting to know the people of Hawaii is a true privilege.
I love the diversity that family medicine provides, medically and socially, and enjoy working with entire families throughout the stages of life. I take a genuine interest in addressing the problem my patients are seeing me for, which helps us to build a relationship and solve problems together. I look forward to helping my patients improve the quality of their lives and strive to put them in the center of their care.My philosophy is based on patient-centered care, which is why I joined the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group. Our integrated and coordinated health care delivery system inherently puts patients first and enables physicians like me to help my patients thrive.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, family and friends. Staying physically active is important to me, and I balance this with some healthy time watching football. I also enjoy staying up-to-date on current events.
