About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself and give you a brief description of our practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente. I work side by side with wonderful physicians and medical practitioners whose main focus is excellent patient care.

Biography

I am from Iran. After graduating from medical school in Turkey, I migrated to the U.S. and did my internal medicine residency in Ohio and endocrinology fellowship in Indiana. I met my wife, who is a pharmacist, in Ohio during my residency, and now we have two wonderful children.

About my practice

Our Endocrinology Department has endocrinologists, diabetes educators, dietitians, and social workers. The main focus of my practice is the treatment of diabetes, thyroid disease, bone disease, and other hormonal abnormalities. Besides treating diseases related to hormones and metabolism, my colleagues and I are committed to educating patients about their diseases, promoting preventive measurements such as lifestyle modification, and engaging them in disease management.

How I thrive

I try to maintain a peaceful life and avoid stress. I enjoy teaching, reading, music, and spending time with my family.
