About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page and taking the time to learn about me and my practice. I am an interventional neuroradiologist, a doctor who performs minimally invasive image-guided procedures on the brain, spine, and neck.

Biography

As a California and Los Angeles native, I am fortunate to now be able to give back to the communities that helped shape my life and career. My training took me away to Stanford University for a radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship, back to UCLA for my interventional neuroradiology fellowship, and then to Massachusetts for a few years at University of Massachusetts. Although I have had multiple journeys to other parts of our country, I am always drawn back to Southern California. Many tell me it’s the weather, but I believe it is more the people and the blending of cultures that I seek (not to mention the wonderful food that comes with those cultures).

About my practice

My goal has always been to achieve the greatest benefit for a member by using the least invasive approach. In our practice, we treat brain aneurysms, acute strokes, vessel stenoses, traumatic vascular injury, and vascular malformations, all via image guidance. We work with multidisciplinary teams that may include neurosurgeons, neurologists, vascular surgeons, or orthopedic surgeons. We all work together to seek effective management options for members.

How I thrive

A good work-life balance is an important facet of a happy life. Being able to spend time with my family, enjoy a leisurely brunch on a day off, and take vacations to distant corners of the globe have provided me with that balance. Going out for a hike, taking a ski trip, or swimming with my kids keeps me active and happy as well.
