Where I practice
Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I received degrees in counseling psychology from Lewis and Clark College, with a focus on child, marriage, couples, and family therapy.
About my practice
I value collaboration among the patient, doctor, and primary care team. I believe that the patient is the expert of their own health and well-being. Life poses challenges that may be hard to cope with at times, and I find meaning in helping KP members return to a life that has purpose. As a clinician on your care team, I will always be sure to advocate for your needs. I consider education to be the cornerstone of quality care, and therefore I invest in ongoing continuing education in the field of behavioral health to aide me in practicing and offering cutting-edge services.

How I thrive
I thrive daily with the simple acts of making sure to get a good night’s sleep, eat a nutritious diet, and get regular physical activity through walks and yoga. I believe in the importance of a daily dose of outdoor time, regardless of the weather. I keep my mind engaged through reading new novels, and daily meditation practices help me feel grounded. In the summers my husband, our two sons, and I enjoy the great Pacific Northwest outdoors — camping, hiking, and working on new projects around our home. In the winters, we enjoy skiing.
