About this program

Our Family and Caregiver Support Group is a drop-in (no registration or commitment required) group for the family and caregivers of loved ones with a serious illness. It is facilitated by Palliative Care Social Worker, Yve Duran, LCSW.

Each meeting will allow time for individual sharing, peer support, and an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns. Some of the topics include:

  • Physical and emotional impact of stress
  • Caregiver stress and tools for coping
  • The emotional impact of caregiving
  • Communication and family dynamics
  • Community resources to support caregiving
  • Practical-safety concerns
