About this program

Three individual classes for parents of children with ADHD. Class 1: Parenting the Child with ADHD Overview provides the history and variations of ADHD, provides information about medications from a medical professional, and explores resources. Class 2: Parenting Skills in the Home introduces positive parenting, building self-esteem, rewards and consequences, family relationships, and parent support resources. Class 3: School Skills and Accommodations for Parenting the Child with ADHD introduces “succeeding” at school, teacher/educator communications, parent’s rights, and use of community resources. 1.5 hrs. each
