Whether you are having a baby, hospitalized for a medical condition, or need emergency care, Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center puts you and your health at the heart of everything we do. We offer many services and amenities available to you and your visitors:

  • Emergency Care: open 24 hours, 7 days (open to everyone, even if you are not a Kaiser Permanente member)
  • Kaiser permanente Northwest Center for Heart and Vascular Care: Regional center for emergency care for heart attacks and strokes; diagnostic testing; treatment for heart arrhythmia; angioplasty and stents; and cardiac surgery
  • Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center's Cancer Care: serves adult medical and surgical patients diagnosed with cancer and is accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer
  • Labor and Delivery services
  • Medical and surgical hospital care for adults
  • Regional center: immunology, nephrology, and oncology hospital care for adults; thoracic and neurosurgery for adults

Referrals to affiliated community physicians/providers in Oregon and Washington

Affiliated community physicians/providers are not part of the Northwest Permanente Medical Group (NWPMG). They are physicians/providers credentialed by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest and/or who have a contract with the NWPMG.

If your NWPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from an NWPMG physician, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community physician/provider.
You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community physician/provider.
