I grew up in New York City, where I attended college and medical school. My training in endocrinology was done in Boston.
For me, medicine is a calling and my passion. I enjoy working with people, as well as doing clinical research in the field of diabetes.
I am married with two children.
About my practice
My practice focuses primarily on the treatment of diabetes and thyroid disease. I also see other endocrine conditions. The practice is geared to meeting the individual needs of the member.
I meld my practice with clinical research. My staff and I participate in five clinical trials related to diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol. I teach at Emory University, where I am a professor, and have published over 100 peer-reviewed articles. I serve as a reviewer for many professional journals and for the National Institute of Health.
How I thrive
I enjoy classical music. My passion is clinical research and writing. My greatest pride is my family.
