Travel safety

Whether your travel plans are a weekend getaway or a month-long trip, make the most of your vacation by planning ahead.

If you are traveling to another country, talk to your doctor about any travel immunizations or medicines you might need or contact the travel clinic if there’s one in your area.

Medical care

  • Keep your medications in their original packages so they are easily identified. It's also helpful to bring a list of all your prescription medicines and prescription numbers, in case you misplace the medicines during your trip.
  • If you're traveling by air, always carry important medicines in your carry-on bag, not your checked baggage, in case your luggage gets lost.
