In the future, if your plans change significantly, you can take this needs assessment again to adjust your personalized action plan.
The Special Enrollment Period protects you from penalty and allows you to defer your Medicare Advantage plan enrollment until you’re ready to retire.
You can enroll in a Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage plan during this period. However, you may be able to become a Kaiser Permanente member sooner. Contact your union/employer group to determine if you’re eligible to join a Kaiser Permanente health plan during their Open Enrollment Period.
The General Enrollment Period is January 1 through March 31 of each year, with coverage going into effect July 1. Penalties may apply.
