For services not listed above, your doctor may refer you to a specialist when it’s medically necessary.
In some cases, neighbor island members may be referred for treatment on Oahu. Physicians there may have access to facilities and equipment not available on other islands.
If you go to Oahu for medically necessary care, we can help coordinate your appointments.
Neighbor island concierge
Our concierge can offer shuttle and ground transportation information, hotel and housing recommendations, and tips on making the most of your stay. Call:

If you live on Maui, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, or the Big Island and need transportation assistance to Oahu for medically necessary care, call our travel department:

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon (emergencies only); closed Sunday and most holidays.
