Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
My gender: Male
Yes, I'm accepting new patients.
I graduated from the College of Charleston and attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. I did my residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. My career as a physician began in pediatric emergency medicine at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. In 1996, I moved to Atlanta to be a pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente.
Being a pediatrician at Kaiser Permanente gives me the privilege of being a part of the lives of children and their families. I enjoy the freshness, candor and honesty of children. I love to watch infants grow into children and then young adults. I enjoy working with all ages, from infancy to college age.In addition to seeing patients, I am also a part of the Kaiser Permanente Scottish Rite Hospital team. At Scottish Rite, we take care of children who need to spend the night at the hospital. In both the office and hospital, I strive to provide my patients with the best up-to-date care in a supportive, caring environment.
Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, reading and exercise. Regarding personal fitness, I try to practice what I preach to my patients and their families. My love for the outdoors draws me to hike and backpack at every available opportunity. I also swim and run regularly. I am a masters swimmer on the Georgia Masters Killer Whales swim team, and am a member of a running group and run with my rescue dog, Miles.
