I was born in northeastern Ohio and began my career there as a registered nurse (RN). I became a nurse practitioner after moving to Atlanta and specializing in pain management. I am happily married and am the proud mother of three lovely daughters. It is important to me to strive to improve the quality of the lives of those in my care because I believe that people need to live their lives to the fullest.
About my practice
Our Pain Management Department treats acute and chronic pain. I work in collaboration with a team of physicians and nurse practitioners. Treatments involve a multi-disciplinary approach which can include injections, medication or referrals to appropriate specialists. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and function for each member we treat.
How I thrive
I feel it is not necessary to join an expensive health club for exercise. Our "trainer" is our dog, Coda, who reminds my husband and me that it is time for a daily walk. I enjoy gardening, sewing and volunteering with several community service organizations. I also enjoy assisting my husband in teaching personal self-defense classes. In the act of giving, I find it not only benefits those I serve, but myself as well.
