Where I practice
Medicine has always been a part of my life. Some of my earliest memories include playing with little plastic anatomy dolls and my mother's stethoscope. Medicine is my passion, and I am so honored to have the privilege of taking care of our hematology-oncology members.
After completing medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), I relocated to Los Angeles and completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Southern California (USC). To be closer to family, I moved back to the South and completed my hematology-oncology fellowship at Emory University. I am proud to have joined Kaiser Permanente in 2018, and I enjoy serving our community and members every single day.
About my practice
As a hematologist-oncologist, I am given the privilege of treating both hematology and oncology conditions. It is both exciting and humbling to be in field with such rapid advancements on a daily basis. With every member that I meet, my practice is to not only focus on the disease, but also on the individual as a whole. My goal is to improve both the quality and quantity of our members' lives in a patient-centered approach.
How I thrive
Being present in each and every moment is my constant goal and key to my fulfillment. In my spare time, hiking, cycling and sleeping are my top three favorite things to do. And I can never say no to chocolate!
