Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
My gender: Female
Yes, I’m accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
I am a New York native that turned into a southern belle after finishing my emergency medicine training in 1998 at Emory University. Caring for patients during a medical emergency or when they are in severe pain is a privilege and duty. My professional career has been spent practicing in many emergency departments in the Atlanta area, including Piedmont and Emory Hospital, and I have been board certified in emergency medicine for over 15 years. I chose emergency medicine because I believe all individuals have a right to quality health care.
I began working for Kaiser Permanente in 2014, and I am a member of the Emergency Medicine Department. I enjoy my interaction with our members in addressing their acute medical needs. My philosophy is to provide compassionate, efficient and high-quality health care to all individuals who seek emergent care. I also love working with our pediatric population and providing information on the importance of diet, nutrition and exercise to our members.
I like to start my day with prayer, gratitude and thankfulness. I am the mother of two wonderful children and the wife to a supportive husband. I love to line dance, kickbox, lift weights and climb Kennesaw Mountain. Exercising my mind with a good novel and staying physically active keeps me focused and energized. I volunteer with at-risk youth, teach math to middle and high school students, and give seminars on health and nutrition to the elderly. Ending my day with prayer, forgiveness and gratefulness is how I thrive.
