Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
My gender: Male
Yes, I’m accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. From a young age, I always wanted to be a doctor, just like my grandfather. I never got the chance to know him well, but his legacy lived on through the stories of my family. I stayed in-state for college and attended the University of Texas. I had an incredible experience living in Austin and maturing as a person. My career next took me to medical school in Houston. Beyond learning how to be a doctor while there, I met my wonderful wife. Lastly, I had the pleasure of doing my urology residency in Charleston, S.C., which not only has an excellent program, but is a beautiful city.
I look forward to treating Kaiser Permanente members with a large variety of urologic conditions. Urologic ailments are a profoundly personal problem for patients. As a urologist, I am fortunate to be able to help someone with fertility, sexual dysfunction, urination, as well as cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testicle and penis. Surgically, I am trained in and use the latest state-of-the-art technologies such as the da Vinci robot and high-definition endoscopy.
I believe that health is more than just having the right medication or the best surgery. It is important to be active and eat healthy. My wife and I exercise several days per week together. We are foodies, but while we enjoy trying new restaurants, we also cook meals daily with fresh ingredients. We strive to find new flavorful ways to incorporate seasonal vegetables into every meal, whether that be with a Thai, Mexican, Indian or American flair. I hope that if we can do that, then I can help our members find that same balance in their lives.
