Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you if you need my care.
I knew when I was young that I wanted to be a doctor. There just never seemed to be any other option. Medicine has passion, compassion, and artistry. I consider it to be a meaningful profession, and I have always admired those able to develop the intellectual and physical stamina required to be a good physician. My route to a medical career was a circuitous one, starting in France, passing through Canada, Texas, and New York, ending at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center. Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way. It utilizes medical skills and knowledge, but also requires listening and responding to what patients need. Pain, in particular, is the most basic of fears.
About my practice
Being a doctor allows people to share their concerns with me. It's a privilege to help patients understand what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and to communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I've found over time that the advice I get from patients is just as important as the advice I give. Have fun, take vacations, and smell the roses. I also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax, read a good novel, or tell a good joke.
