Where I practice
Although native to Pakistan, I have always considered Georgia home. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Georgia State University and then completed my master's degree in social work from University of Georgia. A career in behavioral health has certainly proven to be my "calling" as I thoroughly enjoy transforming lives in such a profound manner.
About my practice
I believe infusing behavioral health services in the primary care setting underscores the connection between mind and body. As an integrated behavioral health consultant, I collaborate with the primary care team to address our members' behavioral health issues in the medical setting. I hope integrating this service in the primary care setting will additionally help eliminate the stigma of accessing behavioral health services.
How I thrive
Thriving transcends mere surviving. I thrive by striving to extract the most out of every moment. I exude my "thrive" philosophy by experiencing the present moment, eating healthy, staying physically active, and enjoying time with loved ones.
