Where I practice
I am Southern born and raised and have enjoyed living in various Southern states while pursuing my degrees in psychology. I knew that I wanted to be a clinical psychologist after having some phenomenal mentors while in college. After college, I obtained a master's degree in clinical and community psychology, and ultimately made the decision to obtain a doctorate in clinical psychology from Georgia State University. I have had the pleasure to work with and support children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, and these opportunities are why I love the work that I do.
About my practice
As a clinical psychologist with Kaiser Permanente, I provide several different types of services to our members. My practice includes individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, young adults and adults. I have expertise and experience in working with mood, anxiety, general support and coping concerns. In addition, I enjoy working with children, adolescents and young adults with chronic or acute illnesses (e.g., cancer, sickle cell disease, etc.). In working with our members, I typically focus on the cognitive, behavioral, developmental and familial/relational aspects of their lives. It is my goal to work collaboratively with the member and/or their family to develop a treatment plan and goals that fit with their values, beliefs and presenting concerns.
How I thrive
I love my family and friends and spending time with them is how I thrive. I also enjoy attending local festivals, reading, traveling and cooking.
