Candance M. Morley, LCSW
I speak: English
My gender: Female
Where I practice
I was born and raised in Miami, but I moved to the Peach State in 2018. I attended Florida State University, where I received my bachelor's and master's degrees in social work. I always wanted to help and assist others in navigating this thing called life. I became a social worker because I wanted to heal the world, one person at a time. I have always believed that it is not what I do, but who I am.
About my practice
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I worked for over 11 years providing individual and family counseling with children, adolescents and adults. I have practiced in various settings and worked with diverse populations. My experience includes school social work, therapy for children in foster care, running parent groups, and project coordination for children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I am honored to collaborate with our members in identifying coping strategies to help them have a healthier life.
How I thrive
I thrive through faith and family. I enjoy spending time with my son and my family (I am the youngest of six siblings). When I have free time, I enjoy reading, traveling and trying different cuisines.
