About me

I am a Colorado native and grew up in rural northeast Colorado. I am a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and then traveled east to Pennsylvania for graduate school. After starting out in primary care in rural Kansas, I moved back home to be closer to family, friends and all of the wonderful activities Colorado is known for.

About my practice

I have always found myself drawn to family practice because of the unique opportunities providers have to develop relationships and provide a lifetime of care for families. This includes working with members to be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to staying healthy. Working with an organization like Kaiser Permanente enables me to focus on preventative care and brings a wealth of resources for both members and clinicians, from help with chronic disease management to weight loss programs and classes.

I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients' care. I trust other Kaiser Permanente providers to take excellent care of my patients if I'm not available. I always try to balance using evidence-based medicine to provide the highest quality care and make sure member's concerns are being addressed.

How I thrive

I thrive by staying active. I am an avid equestrian and have been riding and showing horses most of my life. I also enjoying hiking, gardening and travel. My next travel goal is to visit all 50 states - just 9 more to go!

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente of Colorado attempts to ensure the online directory contains up-to-date information. However, providers are responsible for notifying kp.org of any changes to their information, and untimely communication may result in outdated provider information appearing on the website. Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.

Information about a practitioner is provided to us by the practitioner or the practitioner's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.

To report any inaccuracies in the directory, contact Member Services. Members may also report inaccuracies at kp.org/memberservices.

Referrals to affiliated/contracted physicians/providers in Denver/Boulder

Affiliated/contracted physicians/providers are not part of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). They are physicians/providers who have a contract with the CPMG.

If your CPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from CPMG, he or she will refer you to an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.

You must have a written referral to the affiliated/contracted physician/provider in order for Kaiser Permanente Colorado to cover the services. A referral is a written authorization from Kaiser Permanente for you to receive a covered service from an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
