Where I practice
I was born and raised in beautiful upstate New York, but have lived on both coasts, in the Midwest and in the South. As a snowboarder and hiker, I am excited to be living in Colorado. I appreciate having the cultural benefits of the city nearby with easy access to the mountains and outdoor activities. I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them to preserve and care for their eyes and vision.
About my practice
As an ophthalmologist, I am able to provide both medical and surgical care for many eye conditions. I have specialty training in both cornea surgery and ocular inflammation (uveitis) but also perform cataract surgery and provide medical care for common retina conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. I strive to provide personalized care for each of my patients that is effective and efficient. My goal is to help you make informed decisions about your eye care in the most comfortable setting possible. I approach each of my patients as if they were a family member, so that you can understand your diagnosis and options for treatment and take an active role in your care.
How I thrive
After living all over the U.S., I was enticed by the natural beauty and down-to-earth lifestyle of Colorado. In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, and trying new recipes and restaurants. I also enjoy volunteering my time and skills abroad. I was fortunate to go to Vietnam to participate in an international conference and teach cataract surgery and new corneal transplantation procedures.
