Where I practice
I am a practicing physician with the Colorado Permanente Medical Group. As a partner provider, I care for Kaiser Permanente patients across Colorado, instead of at a single medical office.
I was born and raised in Colorado, and I could not wait to return after I finished medical school and my residency. As a college student, I volunteered as a patient visitor in the local hospital. I enjoyed getting to know those patients, and soon realized I wanted to become a physician so I could do more for patients. The most rewarding part of being a physician has been getting to know my patients and their families. I have also worked with the team that manages kp.org. I am very proud that kp.org is such an important part of connecting our members to their physicians and care teams.
About my practice
I like working with children, and it is a privilege to be able to partner with parents to guide children on their journey to becoming responsible, caring adults. I want to know what you are concerned about and to develop a plan that works for you. I collaborate with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate your care. I recommend that patients and their parents visit kp.org to access their medical record, prescription information and lab results, and gain a better understanding of their health.
How I thrive
I am proud to serve on the Board of Project Angel Heart, which supplies delicious, medically appropriate meals to people with life-changing illnesses. I also volunteered for many years in the pediatric clinic at Samaritan House. I love to bicycle, hike and ski. My partner and I love to cook, and we try to make at least one new recipe every day. We are the proud parents of 3 birds.
