Where I practice
I grew up right here in the Denver metro area. When not studying in school, I spent much of my time enjoying mostly team sports. I even stayed in the Denver area to study and play football at the Colorado School of Mines. I left for 10 years for medical training. In the process, I met my wife of more than a decade, had two wonderful kids and moved back to Colorado to join the Colorado Permanente Medical Group.
About my practice
I decided to practice orthopedic surgery with an emphasis on pediatric orthopedics for myriad reasons. I think that our bodies are a gift and that much of our joy and purpose in life comes from using them. I strive to maximize individuals’ ability to get the most from themselves as they move from childhood into adulthood and hopefully carry that on throughout life. I believe you (or your family) know what is best for you better than I do. I strive to share as much information as is useful in the hope that we can together come to an agreeable treatment plan to get you (or your child) where you want to be. I treat patients of all ages when the need arises, but my primary practice focuses on orthopedic conditions of childhood.
How I thrive
I thrive by giving my all to the patients we treat and feeding off of the energy of the excellent teams I get to work with on a daily basis. When not working, I devote much of my time to my wife and young children. They keep me busy with numerous activities as I enjoy watching them grow, mature and learn about the world around them.
