Kaiser Permanente provider
My gender: Male
Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. At the University of Illinois, I decided to become a physician in order to merge my passion for science with my desire to help people recover from injuries and maintain healthy, active lifestyles. Both at Rush Medical College and in residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, I had the privilege of being mentored by and participating in research with some of the top orthopedic surgeons in the world. In fellowship, at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic, I refined my skills as a sports medicine and shoulder subspecialist, working closely with the team physicians for many of the professional sports teams in Los Angeles. It’s a privilege to offer the knowledge and skills I’ve acquired throughout my training and experience to the Kaiser Permanente community.
As a member of the Rock Creek Orthopedics department, I specialize in sports medicine (shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee), arthroscopy, and reconstructive shoulder surgery (i.e., shoulder replacements). I also serve in our Acute Orthopedic Clinic treating traumatic upper and lower extremity injuries. I take an individualized approach to each patient, offering surgery as an option only when necessary. My goal is to provide the highest quality of care, with a compassionate, modern, evidence-based approach, in the least invasive way possible. I look forward to helping you meet your goals and live a healthy, active lifestyle. My home office is the Rock Creek Medical Offices. Additionally, I see patients at the Edwards and Frisco Medical Offices.
I thrive by striving to live a balanced life. I strongly believe in the importance of physical, psychological and spiritual well-being. My goal is to nurture those things in myself, my friends and family, my patients and my community. My wife and I love exercising, healthy cooking/dining, being outdoors, photography, traveling, serving our community, and building relationships with those around us.
