Where I practice
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and then lived on both coasts prior to settling down in Colorado. This is home; I love the people, active lifestyle, and ever-changing (but often sunny!) weather. My father’s dedication to his work as a psychotherapist strongly influenced my decision to become a physician, as well as my belief in the mind-body continuum and importance of caring for one’s mental health. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I worked at Denver Health as part of the outpatient psychiatry team, which provided me with many rich clinical experiences. I came to the Baseline Medical Offices to continue to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of treatment providers who have a shared mission, and to work in the community in which I live.
About my practice
I believe in a holistic approach to treatment, looking at the big picture and many factors that can influence one’s mental health. I enjoy getting to know my patients and working with them collaboratively toward their personal goals. I strive to treat each person with empathy and respect. I serve as a psychiatric consultant, providing psychiatric evaluation and short-term treatment, and working closely with primary care providers and the care team to manage the health needs of our patients. I care deeply about my patients and look forward to working with you toward improved mental health and wellness. I treat adults age 18 and older, and I enjoy practicing the full scope of adult psychiatry.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending quality time with family and friends, enjoying delicious food, and adventuring in places near and far. I love to be outdoors and active, hiking, climbing, diving and exploring the wonders of our natural world. I also enjoy losing myself in a great book. I strive to find a balance between work, home, an active lifestyle, and time for self-care and self-reflection.
