Where I practice
I am a practicing physician with Colorado Permanente Medical Group. As a partner provider, I care for Kaiser Permanente patients across Colorado, instead of at a single medical office.
I am a native of Denver and a graduate of Wheat Ridge High School and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I decided to become a physician in high school when I found that the career combined my love of science and the desire to be of service to others. I have practiced medicine for 20 years and have enjoyed being a part of people’s lives. I practice medicine at Kaiser Permanente because I believe in our mission to provide high-quality, affordable health care services and to improve the health of our members and the communities we serve.
About my practice
I chose family medicine as I love variety and enjoy working with people from birth to the end of life. Currently, I work as a partner provider and care for people in all Kaiser Permanente Colorado medical offices. I partner with physicians to help provide care when they are unavailable to their patients. I enjoy working as a team with the patient and other physicians to help serve the patient’s needs. I listen and seek to understand the patient’s questions and concerns, so we can make a treatment plan that meets their needs and lifestyle. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of a patient’s health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer questions. I perform joint injections and do minor trauma procedures, such as stitches and uncomplicated fractures.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with my family and friends. I love reading books by Alexander McCall Smith and gardening. I enjoy presenting to groups a wellness program developed by Amit Sood, MD, to improve resiliency. Walking my daughter’s 90-pound pit bull always makes me smile.
