Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I was born in Texas, but moved to Colorado when I was six years old so I have always considered myself a Colorado native. I attended the University of Northern Colorado and received my bachelor’s degree in nutrition. After graduating, I attended an internship program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center to become a registered dietitian. It was during this internship program that I first learned about physician assistants and the important role they play on the medical team. After working for five years as a dietitian in various settings such as research, individual and group counseling, and inpatient nutrition, I decided to expand my skills and returned to school to become a physician assistant. I graduated from the University of Colorado Health and Sciences Center in 2010. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work in the primary care setting where I can combine my experience as a physician assistant and a registered dietitian.
In my practice as a physician assistant, I enjoy working in primary care where I have the opportunity to address all aspects of my patients’ health. With my background in nutrition, I enjoy focusing on preventative medicine and encouraging patients to take charge of their health through diet and active lifestyles.
In my time away from work, my husband and I enjoy staying active. We love to run, hike, and snowshoe. We try to take advantage of our beautiful state whenever we can. We are blessed to have many of our family members nearby, as well as many close friends and we enjoy spending time relaxing with them. My newest and most fulfilling passion is being a new mom to a beautiful baby girl. Watching her grow and develop is a constant source of joy.
