Where I practice
Before starting medical school, I worked on farms, in marketing, as a dishwasher, grocery salesman, waiter, convenience store manager, line cook, and emergency medical technician. I’ve always enjoyed working in fields that have me face-to-face with people and require strong teamwork. My own experiences in the health care system helped me strive to become a dedicated healer and champion for a better system of health care delivery.
About my practice
You and I are a team. I’m here for you. Together we’ll work through problems toward the best possible outcome. I promise I will work toward developing a trusting relationship with you and your family to make sure you get the care that you want. What most people don’t know about gastroenterology is that deaths from cancers of the GI tract outnumber those of breast and prostate combined. I help prevent cancers from ever developing, particularly colon cancer. I also perform advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures with the latest technology available to help you. I treat people the way they want to be treated. I listen, take time to learn your perspective and understand the problem while being compassionate and keeping you involved in the decision making. If you need something different, then simply let me know. We work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate your care.
How I thrive
I love being outside. Enjoying the space and cooking outdoors with my family and friends is very satisfying. My family is the most important part of my life. I have a wife, daughter, son and two dogs. I enjoy tennis, cross-fit, hiking, golf, chess, landscaping and reading books that help me improve myself, plus some fictional series. The occasional Netflix binge watching is fun, too.
