Where I practice
I received my undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and my medical degree from the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. I completed my residency training at Children’s Memorial Hospital/Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and served as Chief Resident for an additional year before returning to my hometown of Denver. Here, I practiced Emergency/Urgent Care medicine at Children’s Hospital Colorado for nearly three years before joining Kaiser Permanente at the East Denver Medical Offices as a primary care pediatrician. I am board certified in Pediatrics and am a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics at both the state and national level.
About my practice
As a pediatrician, it is a tremendous honor to be entrusted by a parent with ensuring the health and well-being of their child, and as such, I believe it is my responsibility to care for each and every patient with the same level of care, compassion, diligence, and respect as if he or she was my very own. I am very passionate about guiding families in making informed, evidence-based health care decisions, investing in the lives of my patients as they grow and thrive from infancy through adolescence, and constantly striving both in and out of clinic to improve and promote the betterment of their health and wellness wherever possible. I take the time to get to know my patients and will listen to understand your questions and concerns.
How I thrive
As a Colorado native I very much enjoy getting outdoors whenever possible and going hiking, biking, getting behind the lens of my camera as an amateur photographer, or stepping into our garden and honing my green thumb as an aspiring gardener. Both my wife and I grew up here and are very fortunate to have many relatives and friends with whom to share our time. More than anything, I love spending a relaxing weekend with my lovely wife and our two wonderful children down at our neighborhood park or strolling through the farmer’s market near our home.
