Where I practice
I grew up in Taiwan and graduated with honors from Tzu Chi University Medical School. I came to the U.S. and completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/McKeesport Hospital. I wanted to practice medicine with people who are focused on doing the right thing for patients, and found the philosophy of Kaiser Permanente a perfect fit for my professional goals. I enjoy building partnerships with my patients and helping you navigate through the complex health care system.
About my practice
I chose to become a hospitalist because I love being “captain of the ship” when it comes to caring for hospitalized adult patients. Having experienced medical training in both Taiwan and the U.S., I thoroughly appreciate the complexities of medicine and the challenges of providing health care across diverse cultural backgrounds. That’s why I always make time for my patients, listen to your concerns and share information so you can feel confident when making difficult decisions. You can think of me as your personal primary care doctor who specializes in working inside the hospital. I work together with many specialists as a team to care for you, and facilitate a smooth transition back to the outpatient team when you are discharged home. I strive to bring the best care to my patients every day to help you through your most difficult times.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending quality time with my family and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Colorado.
