Kaiser Permanente provider
My gender: Female
Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I grew up in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin for my undergraduate degree. I came to Denver for residency in emergency medicine after completing my medical degree and Ph.D. in pharmacology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. My husband and I returned to Denver after I practiced for several years in academics at the Medical College of Wisconsin because we missed the sunny skies and wonderful winter weather. We live in the south suburbs with our boys and Golden Retriever. We love watching sports, especially baseball and football, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. My work responsibilities currently include being the area specialty chief of the Aurora Centrepoint Urgent Care. We have an excellent team dedicated to providing high-level acute care to our members.
I chose emergency medicine because I love the challenge inherent in providing care that covers the entire spectrum of medicine. I feel very fortunate that Kaiser Permanente places a high value on physician and patient communication, allowing me to really sit down and spend time with my patients. My goal is to ensure that my patients get thoughtful and targeted care for their acute medical needs as well as a comprehensive follow-up plan. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care.
We recently moved to a home with acreage. We plan to raise chickens and I can’t wait to start gardening. It’s a great way to decompress from the stress of daily life.
