About me
I am originally from Southern California. My husband and I moved out here after college to see what it was like and fell in love with this beautiful state. I completed my medical training in Colorado and feel very fortunate to be caring for patients in my community and working for an organization that I believe in. From a young age, I was influenced by a few profound family health experiences that shaped my desire to become a doctor. I am the first in my family to graduate from college, let alone medical school, and understand the challenges many of our patients and families struggle with regarding health literacy.
About my practice
As a hospitalist, I always tell my patients that I know they did not wake up that morning expecting to see me. You probably did not anticipate having a heart attack, a serious infection requiring hospitalization, or breaking a hip. However, I will be here with you and your family to help navigate the complex and often scary hospital world. I enjoy learning about you and listening to understand your questions and concerns. Although I see patients only in the hospital setting, I will ensure that your primary care provider and specialty doctors know what happened while you were here. I work closely with Kaiser Permanente providers, as well as the hospital care teams, to coordinate your care. Your electronic medical record helps me to see the big picture of your health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer your questions.
How I thrive
When I am not working I am spending time with my husband and our daughter, either enjoying the mountains or exploring new playgrounds and places to eat in Denver. I also love to run trails and races. I practice yoga most days of the week!

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente of Colorado attempts to ensure the online directory contains up-to-date information. However, providers are responsible for notifying kp.org of any changes to their information, and untimely communication may result in outdated provider information appearing on the website. Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.

Referrals to affiliated/contracted physicians/providers in Denver/Boulder
Affiliated/contracted physicians/providers are not part of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). They are physicians/providers who have a contract with the CPMG.
If your CPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from CPMG, he or she will refer you to an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
You must have a written referral to the affiliated/contracted physician/provider in order for Kaiser Permanente Colorado to cover the services. A referral is a written authorization from Kaiser Permanente for you to receive a covered service from an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
