Where I practice
I am a Colorado native, born in Cortez. I received my medical degree from Loma Linda University. I completed my residency training at Kaiser Permanente – Fontana Family Medicine Residency Program in California and was the Chief Resident during my final year of training. After completion of residency, I joined the United States Air Force and served seven years including tours in the States as well as England. I am Board Certified in Family Medicine and a Delegate of the American Medical Association. I joined Kaiser Permanente Colorado after completion of my military service because of their exemplary service record, being rated in the top few medical groups in the Unites States.
About my practice
My practice philosophy is to create and maintain an excellent physician/patient relationship. In my experience, successful treatments come when both the doctor and patient are on the same page. The focus of this relationship is prevention. I want to help prevent what we can, treat what can’t be prevented, and help you understand what can’t be treated. I chose Family Medicine because I enjoy working with all ages from birth until the end of life. I enjoy taking care of the whole family unit, as this is the focus of Family Medicine.
How I thrive
My family is my primary focus and what helps me thrive. I have a beautiful wife and three wonderful children and they give me endless pleasure watching them grow and develop. I am an outdoor enthusiast, which was a large driving force bringing me back to Colorado. I enjoy golf, hunting, fishing, running, skiing, as well as various team sports. I have also developed a love of travel after being stationed overseas.
