Where I practice
I grew up in a small town in Ohio, where I enjoyed the rivers, green hills, and great community. After a brief time as a mechanical engineer in the automotive field, I decided to make the jump to medicine. During this transition, I earned a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, and completed my MD at Wright State University, followed by residency training in Family Medicine at Swedish Family Medicine through the University of Colorado. My wife and two sons are now happily planted in the Colorado lifestyle, and look forward to growing strong roots in the community.
About my practice
As a member of the Family Medicine Department, I value the opportunity to work with patients of all shapes, sizes, and ages to promote overall health and wellness. I am a "big picture" person, and like to take in all aspects of life that impact our health, in order to develop a plan for each patient; whether that be related to a specific concern or towards prevention of problems in the future. I especially enjoy adolescent health, sports medicine, musculoskeletal care, and community-based care.
How I thrive
My family and I love taking in all that our neighborhood and region has to offer. Whether that is simply walking to downtown Littleton for a meal, or heading up to the alpine areas for some mountaineering or rock climbing, it helps to keep me grounded and connected to my community. I also enjoy endurance sports, including triathlons, mountain biking, and running; and hope to return to these activities. Additionally, I look forward to getting back into volunteering through our local schools.
