Kaiser Permanente provider
My gender: Male
Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I grew up in a small town, Tarpon Springs, on the west coast of Florida. I graduated from the University of South Florida with my undergraduate and medical degrees. I did my orthopedic training at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. My sports medicine fellowship was completed at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. I joined Kaiser Permanente directly out of my training in 2004.
I am a sports medicine orthopedic specialist with an interest in shoulder, knee, and hip arthroscopy. I work with an excellent group of physicians and staff. The well-being of my patients is my main focus as a health care professional. My goal is to provide as much information as possible to my patients concerning their condition so they can understand their options, and make informed decisions about their treatment. I incorporate healthy lifestyle choices, regular exercise and nutrition in educating people about how best to care for their bones and joints. A small part of my time has been spent in administration serving on Good Samaritan Medical Center committees.
I love the mountains for skiing, fishing, hiking, camping, and most of all jogging. I am married and have three children. I enjoy most outdoor activities and watching sports, mostly college football. We enjoy traveling to many of the national parks and Europe. I try to maintain healthy eating habits and hold nutrition as a second passion in my career.
