Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I became a physician to help people. When this is realized, I find it extremely rewarding! Prior to working at Kaiser Permanente, I served our country as an Army orthopedic surgeon. My assignments included Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Tripler Army Medical Center, and 121st General Hospital in Korea.
I am humbled and challenged by the complexity of the field of orthopedics. I enjoy treating patients with adult foot/ankle problems, as well as patients with acute fractures. Surgery can lead to great improvement in many orthopedic conditions. However, it comes with the risks of surgery and anesthesia. Each patient should weigh the pros and cons of surgical intervention very carefully before proceeding. Part of my duty also is to ensure that our department runs efficiently. I aim to assist in getting patients scheduled with the correct providers whenever possible.
In addition to family and recreational activities, I find involvement at the national level with various orthopedic organizations very rewarding. These include reviewing manuscripts for peer review journals, writing book chapters, and serving as an examiner for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a practitioner is provided to us by the practitioner or the practitioner's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
