Where I practice
I am a practicing internist for adult patients with the Colorado Permanente Medical Group. As a partner provider, I care for Kaiser Permanente patients across Colorado, instead of at a single medical office. I also serve as the executive director of the Kaiser Permanente Colorado Institute for Health Research.
I earned my medical degree and completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Subsequently, I obtained a Master of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health while completing a research fellowship through the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. I served as director for the Division of Healthcare Delivery Data, Measures and Research, in the Center for Delivery, Organization, and Markets within the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) until February 2017. I also practiced as an internal medicine physician for 25 years with the Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
About my practice
I listen and seek to understand my patients’ questions and concerns. I will work with you to make treatment plans that meet your needs and lifestyles. I work as a team with your primary care provider, specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate your care. My goal is to provide the most appropriate care for my patients, so you aren’t spending extra time or money to get the care you deserve.
How I thrive
I thrive by seeing my 4 kids as often as possible and palling around with my husband.
