Where I practice
I was born and raised at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Canada. My family immigrated to Los Angeles when I was in high school and I attended the University of California at Santa Barbara for my undergraduate degree. My love of music and medicine took me to New Orleans for both a master’s degree in pharmacology and a medical degree from Tulane University. My training in family medicine was completed at the University of New Mexico and the Indian Health Services in Albuquerque. When it came time to decide where I would practice medicine, I chose to return to the mountains that I love and live in the Denver/Boulder area.
About my practice
I chose family medicine and to practice at Kaiser Permanente specifically because of our dedication to improve the health of and prevent illness for all our members. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my patients and learning about your life. I love working as a team with you to listen to your concerns and, if needed, including the various specialists, pharmacists, and support staff here. I view my role not only as a physician, but as an advocate for your health. I am here for you.
How I thrive
I chose a career that focuses on health, but we know life consists of so much more than physical health. I love spending time with friends and family, trying new recipes and going to hockey games. I enjoy staying in touch with my cultural roots and being involved in the Armenian community. I appreciate all things science fiction, including books, movies, TV shows and games. You may even see me wearing a costume at the Denver Comic-Con.
