Kaiser Permanente provider
My gender: Female
Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I am originally from Boston and trained in the Northeast. I moved to Colorado with my family in 2015. I became a physician to help people and to improve the lives of my patients and their families. I feel very grateful every day to have the privilege to participate in the care of my patients and their families dealing with neurological problems. I want every person I see to leave my office feeling heard. Know that I will do whatever I can to help you.
I went into Neurology because to me the brain is the most interesting part of us – it defines who we are as human beings. I have additional training and expertise in traumatic brain injury and concussion, and I see athletes and non-athletes who have had traumatic brain injuries. I also see patients with migraines, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and peripheral nerve issues. I always aim to treat people with kindness and respect the way that they want to be treated. I listen, take time to hear the perspective of my patients and their families, and I try to understand the problem while being compassionate and keeping my patients involved in the decision making about their medical care. We work as a team with our nursing staff, clinical pharmacists and others to coordinate your care.
I love to spend time with family and friends, eat great food, travel, dance, sing, and root for the Patriots, Red Sox and Florida Gators (since my husband is a Gator).
